Default Add-A-Leaf Install - PLEASE HELP!!!

I am in the middle of putting an AAL on my truck and i cannot figure this out. I have the fabtech ft202 kit. The new leaf spring is too long to fit on the the bottom (it is the shortest) because of the spring clamp that is toward the rear of the truck. Does anyone recall how to take that off? I am hoping i can finish this for the weekend. And also it says to put the longest end of the leaf toward the shackle, I am assuming it means the one close to the rear bumper?

Nevermind, I went ahead and cut the clamps with a grinder and got some new ones at autozone. The another annoying part is the center bolt that keeps the springs aligned. Whoever it was that designed the bolt with a round head deserves to be kicked in the balls! I have the driver's side finished and am almost halfway on the passenger side. I will post pics after I'm finished.
