You don't have a pitman arm 98 is when the rangers went to rack and pinon steering

nothing changes on the steering. simply disconnect the outer tie rods from the steering knuckle & reattach to the new lift spindle steering knuckles.
one thing to consider is the brake lines. most people don't seem to have an issue, but i've heard at least one instance where the brake lines needed to be replaced with longer ones. but i think that was for a guy who disconnected his sway bar & wanted to rock crawl lol

by the way, if you haven't replaced your ball joints, it's nice to do those at the same time since it's all apart & in front of you...

Re: Will this do???? Please help!
oh, the lower ball joints run $40 to $60 each iirc (Moog brand are the best IMO) and the upper ball joints actually come with the whole upper control arm. the whole upper arm is around $60 and very easy to change. the lower bjs just need to pressed out & pressed back in.
there's is a great how-to thread on this forum too

Re: Will this do???? Please help!
Check rockauto.com for the moog ball joints. I agree with ol' robby, they are the best. I was able to get my moogs for my truck for less than half of what they cost to walk in the parts store.
