Hey all I'm new here and I just recently purchased a 1994 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 its a 5sp and in incredible good shape, I am thinking of doing a few mods to it but I really wanna go with some sort of lift, I'm sure you all have had several of these post and I'm sorry for doing it again but I'm not real truck savy I have always been into american muscle cars. I'm not sure what to go with I would really like to get some 31's or possibly 33's on it. I dont wanna go to tall cause I'm kinda short and might have trouble getting in it lol, any help would be appreciated.

i don't know much about it either, but on truckaddons.com, they sell both suspension and body lift kits throught multiple vendors, not sure how big you want to go. but i am getting a 93 ranger regular cab 2.3 liter 5 speed and i am thinking about going with the 4" suspension lift from rough country its like $430.00 also if you get a kit and your worried about being able to get in just make or buy a step for the side

I would like to go about 2 or 3 in just enough to give it that lifted look I hear about body lifts but alot of people i see on here dont like them I'm just wondering what would be easier, I dont plan on doin any major offroading

Body lifts are easy and basic. The downfall I see in those, is that you can see the frame under the body even more. Suspension lifts are nice but pricey, depending on what brand and height you want. I have a 3" body lift, and I'm not gonna lie, I like it. I fit 33's under it with just the body lift. A little too snug for me. I would go with 32's. Again, you don't have to go with the PA lift or Tuff Country lift. There's always more ways to get that extra clearance. Although I've never seen a 4" suspension lift that cheap before.

With 31s or 33s you may be able to fit them with just a t-bar crank

This is true, you can fit 32x11.50s or 33x10.50 with just a t-bar crank.

I'm not 100% on this but doesn't the t-bar crank just apply to the 98 and newer 4x4 models?

and how about the coil spacers for the front where can I get those at I called my local autopart store and he said he didnt know what I was talking about. I had read on here somewhere about geting those at autozone or advance, I have searched on here and I cant find it now?

He cannot to a t-bar crank due to lack of t-bars.

I would not bother talking to autopart stores. Go to suspension shops or offroad specialty stores or just ask here. With your TTB suspensions suspension lifts are a lot cheaper than the newer a-arm suspensions.
