Default Bigger blocks?

I've been thinking about getting 4 inch blocks for the rear of my 4x4 and taking out the stock 2.5s. You guys think this would be too dumb looking with only the bars cranked in the front? Of would it jut look lifted but not level? I'm not worried about being level, i just want a little more height before i get my body lift put on. Has anybody done this?

But don't shackles flatten the leaf springs a pretty good bit? And would having shackles hurt my hauling?

no and no.

shackles are the way to go if you want to raise the rear.

or, you can do an add a leaf.

edit: bigfish beat me to it

your truck already has stock shackles so getting longer ones shouldn't do anything to the springs or get an aal

I think I'm gonna go with an aal. Now what's the better choice, long or short?

You got me there. I have no clue. Ima guess that short gives more height and long carries weight better...shot in the dark right there

Sent from my iPhone 5 so I can tell you to search wherever I may be

i think long has a smoother ride with more weight handling but short is cheaper
