Project Superlift/Fox CoilOver Conversion Official Build Thread
Ok well I finally got part of this thing started....I had the gussets welded on today since the welder we use stopped by so I had him do it. This means I'm gonna get my ass in gear after having my Fox Coilovers here since Monday. I'll keep everyone posted, but hopefully I can have this thing knocked out by Sunday. I plan to keep this updated as the build goes on, and will try and answer any and all questions anyone may have about this.

Just wondering. I know you need to weld some. Is it drivable to have welded?
Also the alignment bolts or what ever it is that comes with the kit. Does that need to be installed by a professional or you do it your self?

The only welding thats required is welding the support gussets to the shock tower mount and the frame, won't effect anything at all if you weld these on before doing anything else for the install. This is what I had done today, and I will take pictures of this once I have my wheels off and can take a good picture of it. I had him weld them in, and then I needed to run some errands so I put the wheels back on and drove it. All the gussets help do is support the added stress and weight that the shocks towers are going to be receiving with no more torsion bars.
I'll let you know about the alignment bolts once I get there, but the truck will obviously have to have an alignment after any superlift install

Cool I am wanting to order a complete kit from them as soon as I hear back from them. I just would have to take the truck to work and weld them on there.

You need to talk to Nick, he's the man. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I have his direct number if you want it.

Alright guys, front end is done and completed, finished it last night about 2 lol. Kinda slow walked it and took our time, upgraded a few things, made sure everything fit pretty much to factory spec, and it was worth it. I'll post some pictures here in a few. Also, while I was workin Saturday one of the Techs who was helpin me on it decided to work on it for about 5 hours while I was still workin, so I wasn't able to take pictures at this time for the write up. The rear is still at factory plus the chevy shackles, because my skyjacker 4" leafs went on backorder and will be here tomorrow. I'll get pics up soon!
