Talking More info, please.

Sorry to hijack, but as an interested owner of a 1st gen. How much lift could I expect from these larger coils? I know how to do the leafs in back. I'm not going sky high, just wanna squeeze a little more tire under her.

If you do the f150 coils you need to get it aligned. You should get about 2" of lift off it. Then with the back its really your choice. Either do lift shackles or lift blocks.

To properly do this (safely) you need to modify the coil buckets. The Ranger coil buckets will not hold the F-150 springs in them; they will pop out.

I forgot to mention that. Another safe bet is either use a bunch of big hose clamps or do some fab work to the buckets.

you do not have to modify the buckets!! All you have to do is move the stock coil clamp on the bucket closer to the middle, so just drill a new hole, and they will fit!

The Rangers do NOT have a stock coil clamp that is removable. The Rangers stock coil retainer is built into the bucket and located near the back. It is a small tab that is bent down from the middle of the bucket.

The F-150 springs are larger in diameter at the top of the springs.

I meant the stock f150 clamps, just drill a hole for the stock f150 clamp and bolt the clamp down.
