Summitracing.com you can get a Performance Accessory lift

They are easy to install. Soak body bolts 1 week in PB Blaster and get a hand held torch t heat the bolts up and they will break lose.

Ya you will need a shifter extension

The kit comes with brackets to lift the shroud

This body lift will work even though it says for 1998-2000 only difference will be the fuel filler neck which you can get a pipe at a hardware store to make it work. The kit for your truck is 240 dollars

If you can afford a suspension lift then definitely go with it but if you are trying to save big money use the body lift. I do not remember which 3" kit I used but I only paid $170 for it thru 4 wheel parts. It had everything needed and included the shifter extension.
