The welds did break down on the axle side, from it preventing the wrap... that and I was hard on the traction bar to really test it.
I have since re welded all 3 joints where the nut is at the end of the tube. I ground them down too much last time and didn't leave much weld reinforcement, that's why they broke.
But since I've corrected that, I still beat pretty hard on it and it more than takes what I dish out to it. Plus, my u-joints love it lol
Here's what I mean,

James duff is the only company that makes bolt ons for the ranger. Otherwise it's all custom like mine.
Shane will tell you though, his Duff doesn't compare to my traction bar...

well custom is out of the question for me
is it worth the extra $220 to get the long link traction bars? can you see the LL's sticking out from under the truck?
Which ones does shane have?

Shane has the shorter ones I think. The ones that sit on top of the u-bolt spring plate and mount to the front static spring hanger.

thats the normal ones not the long link. i'm actually not sure if the long link ones will fit on the Ranger now because it only has an option for the Bronco II :/

We learn from our mistakes. That's part of how you get better. On something small like a traction bar, errors are ok. It's not NEEDED for the truck, but wanted. On a SAS, yes, fab skills are a MUST.

Yeah true. I'm going to wait until college and join the Baja Club which builds and races off road baja trucks each year. They build it from scratch so i should learn alot of stuff from that. I'm hoping that i will learn enough to install the Coil-Over Conversion on my own so i don't have to pay someone to install it... I think i am actually going to try and tackle the superlift with my dad's help which will be the first major thing i have ever done on a truck. i'm hoping it will go smoothly haha
