Default Superlift???

Hey so iv been playing with the idea of getting a superlift and taking the body lift off. i just hate how it looks. I already have a 1 inch body lift laying around so i could just put the superlift on and the 1 inch body on. Idk if its worth it or not. My keys are cranked close to 2 inches( aftermarket lift keys) and it rides like CRAP. I want my ride back for starters and would like not to see much or any frame anymore. Im sticking with my current 33's but maybe 35's in the future. Im currently at 2 inch torsion crank in the front and 4 inch block for the rear with a 3 inch body. im thinking superlift with a small torsion crank( say 4.5 inches total??) maybe a 1 inch body and shackles for the rear? im just stuck on what to do. I want my current height but like all susp. please help with ideas. thanks

If you are going to take a body lift off keep it off. Don't replace it with a smaller one. And don't crank your bars if you have aftermarket keys. You will fuck your cv axles

The driveshaft is seperate. And if I do the superlift I would put the factory keys back in and crank them like .5-1" that shouldn't really do any harm and not effect the ride I wouldn't think

your best bet for ride and height would be a super lift then a coil-over conversion

The super lift is a solid kit I have installed 2 now. Ditch the bl and instal the super lift it will look great. As others have said the front drive shaft is not included. You can get 5-20k mikes out of the stock shaft but its a time bomb. If your truck has more then 50 k on it you may consider doing the balljoints and tire rods. I also flushed my front diff while I had it apart.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

True but what's the coil conversion run? $5-600? I mean its been so long since my truck was stock I don't remember how it rode. I know there not that great but it has to be better than a 2 inch torsion crank. The best price iv found for the lift was like $1600 shipped. That's not including the driveshaft.

----------

Oh and I did ball joints and tie rods over this summer with moog. Also new wheel seals which is a whole new story about that.

----------

Hey how much lift did you end up with in the front when u did yours? The whole 4 inches? And is ur rear just 3 inches or 3 inches on top of the factory 2 inches? I'm seriously looking at getting it in the next few weeks.

The coil over conversion runs about 1000 depending on what shocks you decide on.

I have about 3.5 in the front over what was with a slight 2 bar crank. And yes out back I am running shackles and explorer springs with the stock block so its up about 3 in from stock.

My truck sits another 2 in taller when I take the gear out of the back so keep that in mind.

I think the master kit has been right around that price for years - It's pretty stable.

WOW - Was that brand new?! I've never heard someone getting the full master kit (Part # K358) for that price. At almost twice that price it would be a decent deal.

Hell of a find!

There's a guy up here in WA that wants to trade his superlift for stock knuckles and shocks.
