Default torsion bar crank

im gonna crank my t-bars and was wondering if anyone has done it without jacking the truck up? or if it is necessary can it be done jacking one side up at a time then switching sides? any help would be appreciated because all i have is the factory jack

i didnt get my wheels off the ground i just took the pressure off the suspension

If you didn't take the pressure off the suspension. those bolts would not turn easily

I've never jacked my truck up when I crank my bars. I've cranked mine twice now. You just need a breaker bar and the correct size socket. It is pretty hard to turn them then but it's nothing major.

I jacked mine up to unload the spring weight of the bars, made life easier. Just remember to keep a good count on the # of turns you do from one side to the other or it will need to be aligned again.
