Default 03 Ranger Edge 2wd lift or not to lift?

I have a 2003 ranger edge 2wd, i found a 3 inch body lift on 4wheelparts.com, questions are
1. if i lift it on stock wheels(i get my new tires bfg ats next week or the week after) 15 inch wheels would it look too awkward?
2.could i just get a bigger tire to make it less awkward looking? i was thinking maybe 30's if they would fit under the lift.
3.i like to play in mud holes( who doesn't) can a body lift hold up if i play around?
4.should i get the lift first then bigger tires? would that make it less goofy looking.

any advice or thoughts will be appreciated thank you in advance

I would get the tires and then bodylift. You can run 31" - 32" just fine with no lift

I have a 2wd edge and I had 31's for a long time before the lift

Save some money and buy the body lift from summitracing.com get the performance accessory one that's made for the 1998-2000 ranger. It will work I have it on my truck
Only had to modify the fuel filler neck

$165 shipped to my front door for my bodylift from summit.

dont get 30"'s, they'll look too small after you lift.. 32's or 33's would be your best bet.

The body lift WILL stand up to constant off roading and mud bogging, trust me i know.

I have a 3" PA Bodylift on mine, with 33's. Tires rub once in a while when I'm goin fast Off-Road. Body lift has held up quite nicely, for all the crap I put my truck through. I have yet to regear it though.

I would go for the 33s personally, I think it would look a lot better IMHO.
