Default what do u think?

so after researching about lifts for about a month now and saving the money for it ive decided to max out the T-bars and get the 3in BL and a AAL and the 2in chevy drop shackles. What do u guys think about this idea? im ordering all the parts on friday unless u guys change my mind hahaha. Any one have any pics on what this might look like? and i read a fourm before but i cant find it and im pretty sure it sayed u could squeese 35s under there but itll be tight. id love to get the 4in superlift but seeing that ill allready be throwing 1500+ in parts and tires and wheels i dont need it that bad yet. any way it would look funny with all that lift and dinky 265s haha

Well, considering your just doing a BL, T-bar crank, and shackles, if i were you, i'd do it myself. Its really not that hard. You take it to a shop, theyre gonna charge you up the ass for it.

I wouldn't get the AAL, just stick with the shackles. If you run 35's on your stock rims then two good things will happen. 1) You'll save money that you were going to buy wheels with. 2) You won't rub as much as you would with aftermarket wheels. Doing the body lift yourself is pretty easy. There's lots of threads with helpful pictures and info but really if you just follow the directions it comes with then you shouldn't have any troubles.

well don't take it to ford for one.

also you probably won't need both AAL & shackle unless you want a raked look. Just a shackle will probably level it out.

I would say get some buddys to help you and start learning how things go together. Will save you a lot of money in the long run

Nothing mentioned takes that much know how especially when the directions are pretty good that come with the BL and people on here can answer any questions you have if you get stuck

also what do u think about these:http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=9&g=1 i want ur opinion on the super swamper ssr tires i guess there road friendly and there spided so u can drive them in rainy or icey conditions and suposevily there one of the best off road performing tires out there. I no ill only get 30-50 thousend miles out of them if im lucky but i really dont care about tire wear. I think itll be somthing different because every one has the BF mudders ya no and i no the BFs are bad ass i just dont want them. im thinkin the 35x12.50x16 on DC1s but every one has those too. i think the part number is SSR-58R what are ur thaughts.

I would just get 33's and man if you get swampers for a daily driver you are nuts. I have swampers and there is no way I would want to drive every day on them. The only reason I have them is because my ranger is just my toy.

You are looking at a rough ride, loud as can be and I doubt you will get 50K out of swampers. Sure they look cool and work great off road but really. How much off road driving do you do compared to on road.

if you want an aggressive road mud terrain look at MTZ's or nitto mud grapplers. Not a bunch of those around but they are sharp looking tires
