2000 Ranger 4.0L V6 4X4 suspension lift
Hi, My name is Taylor Hainline and i just got a 2000 ranger 4x4 for my 18th birthday. I am putting 31" tires on it and i am looking for a Suspension life so i can take it to the desert and hit some bumps and not damage anything. I was thinking around 4" in front and 3" in back. I dont know a lot about suspension companies so I was wondering if someone can give me some insight on the right company to get.
Thanks for reading,
Taylor Hainline

Re: 2000 Ranger 4.0L V6 4X4 suspension lift
Welcome to the site.
A true suspension lift for your truck will cost some real $$$.
Suspension Lift Info: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/lifte...ur-ranger.html
Assuming you don't want to drop that amount of cash - You should look into just cranking your torsion bars to get the some end 'lift'. You can find tons of info on cranking your t-bar's...just fire up a search.

The 4 inch super lift Is 2000 and a 3 inch inch body lift is 200 or so. Your can crank your tbar's for about 2 inches of lift and though some shackles int the back.

Re: 2000 Ranger 4.0L V6 4X4 suspension lift
if you want to get the lift that you want look to spend about 2 grand...and if you get that much lift id recommend 33s...31s would look too small

Re: 2000 Ranger 4.0L V6 4X4 suspension lift
superlift or finding a used RCD lift are your only options for suspension

nope, 2wd has spindles 4wd has keys, unless you have an Edge, which has both.

You mean 2wd is coil sprung with spindles. 4x4 and is torsion bar, and 2wd edge is torsion bars with spindles.
