Yeah that's why I have to buy a 16x8 wheel so I can buy a tire that fits. And yes that size 33

16" rims are actually more difficult to find. Plus I think most 16" rims go metric, so a 33" tire is about a 285 tire metric. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I would just go with 15" rims, its more preference if you want 15x8 or 15x7. In the prerunner world 15x7 are more wanted than 15x8. I run 15x7 on a 33x12.5.

No a 15x8 is better for that wide of a tire.

Like I said in "prerunners", 15x7's are more wanted with 33x12.5 because it tucks the sidewall in more to the rim. This protects it from the sidewall clipping any rocks while doing 40+ in the dezert and blowing up the tire. Some people do run 15x8 though, it's not that crazy of a difference.

But if you dont air that tire down a little on the road it will wear the middle of the tire out quick.

To the OP are you goinb to run 12.5 or 10.5's? Because if you run 12.5's your tire is going to rub on your frame when you back out of parking spaces and all that.

Re: Spindle Lift For 2000 xlt
okay after alot of research Ive come to the conclusion of 15x8 rock crawler rims or Mickey Thomson. But I came across back spacing and offset and the more my tires stick out the less they will rub Im guessing also it doesnt hurt that it looks cool!
