New User With A Couple Questions About Lift
First I want to start off by saying THANK YALL. I just recently got my dads fishing truck passed down to me (2000 ford ranger xlt) and immediately started researching lifts and I learned alot from the forums.
I just purchased 2.5 inch coil spacers and 1 inch blocks hoping to be able to clear 31s-33s (putting on this weekend) until I buy another lift to add some height.
For more lift and more room and cut out any rubbing. I was wondering instead of buying a spindle lift with blocks(im 16 and dont have that much money). Would a cheaper alternative be to buy lift coils and a bigger block? Also I know that spindles take some of the pressure off from the spacer but will a lift coil help the pressure any? I know theres alot of questions but I just made an account and need any extra help or ideas! Thanks again yall!!

You can't do both it's either lift coils or coil spacers.

Re: New User With A Couple Questions About Lift
spindles are easier than coil spacers. and IMO better than lift coils or spacers because they put less wear on the ball joints.

Re: New User With A Couple Questions About Lift
shackles or blocks will keep the same ride quality as stock, add a leaf will make the rear a bit stiffer just like lift coils in the front. i'd do shackles over blocks.

Can you do both shackles and blocks in the back...2 inch shackles 2 inch blocks and have coil spacers and spindles in the front...3inch spindles 2.5 inch spacers that's a cheap way of lifting 5 inches. Will it work? Thanks for all the advice y'all!!
