Default 91 Explorer lift kit on a 95 ranger?

I have been looking for a 4-6" lift kit for my 95 ranger xlt 4x4 4.0L ext cab automatic. I came across someone selling a tuff country 4" lift for a 91 explorer. He claims they will work on the 83-97 rangers. This sounds reasonable to me since the 91-94 explorers are listed together with the rangers, but they do have different part numbers. I'm wondering if it would have been because of a difference in weight distribution with the different body style, or is there actually a difference in the parts orbolt patterns?

Is it for a 4x4 explorer? If it is, you can probably make it work
