Removing coil lift, adding spindle lift on 98 2wd, questions
I have a 2.5" coil lift with Fabtech upper arms, lift coils from a different manufacturer, Bilstein 5100's, and a cambolt alignment kit.
I want to put my stock coils back in, put some stock Bilstein yellow (HD) shocks in, and install these lift spindles:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MaxTrac-Lift...b20017&vxp=mtr
And last but not least, I want to run some BTF uniball upper arms when I do this. Will those spindles work with the BTF arms?
If I can't run the BTF's, will I be able to run my Fabtech arms without a coil spring lift? Even though they were specifically designed for coil lifts? That might be a newbie question but hey, I'm here to learn

I'm pretty sure you can run the BTF's with those spindles.

BTF and Fabtech are designed for lift coils, not stock coils

Yes. I'm doing this because 2.5" coil lift ride quality sucks. I want to keep my current ride height (more or less) because I like where it's at now. If I do this I will be less than 1 inch taller up front than I am now.
and no I'm not removing my body lift and that's not what we're discussing here

Will I'm pretty sure you could run the BTF's without the lift coils. And the spindles are good I have them.

Re: Removing coil lift, adding spindle lift on 98 2wd, questions
I'm also thinking of doing nothing except replacing the Fabtech uppers with BTF uppers if it's possible. And if there's enough evidence that shows the Fabetch/balljoint setup sucks compared to the uniball setup...

Yes you can run the BTF arms without lift coils. I actually have fabtech spindles with OEM snouts pressed in, as well as uniball uppers (look exactly like my BTF arms... actually better) sitting in my garage just waiting to be listed for sale. To be honest I want to swap my stuff for this but its just to much of a hassle.

My next question is will the BTF uniball arms work with stock spindles?
