haha so just take it off and throw it in the truck bed? can you just drive around like this all the time or is it only a temporary fix? (obviously you wouldnt have 4 wheel drive without but still)

when it starts binding/shaking/jerking, remove it, toss it in the bed and continue on your merrily way. The only real fix is a Superlift shaft or equivilent.

hahaha i know i was curious. i didnt want my truck to not be able to run without that driveshaft. if worse comes to worse and i dont have the money to get a new driveshaft i can still drive my truck around and it won't be any different than normal because i rarely ever use 4wd... i would replace it if i had the money tho

ORW has a package deal where you get the superlift kit and front driveshaft for 2,000. Which is a good deal unless you find a used one, which they do pop up if your patient

you find me those prices

superlifts don't go for 1500 anymore, they are up in the 1700-1800 range

and the shaft prices are over 400

Considering $400 is the absolute cheapest I've been able to find it and even that was a local friend owns the shop hook-up price. If you actually go look up the part, you're gonna see prices anywhere from 450 to upwards of 600.

1500 is a good flat number for the superlift. But again, not often you see it advertised for even that. Usually alot more like in the 16-1800 range.
