Default how much would it cost to lift a 97 ranger?

Okay.
I'm a girl, and (obviously) I'm new to all of this.
I have a 1997 4x4 ford ranger xlt (regular cab).
I'm planning on doing a 3 inch body lift, and putting it on 30's.
I know the tires will be making a hella big dent in my pocket, so about how much will the lift cost?

thanks. =)

first off 30's will look ridiculous, do 26's. But, to answer your question check with a mechanic/body shop, you should get a pretty good price.

you can buy a 3 inch body lift for around 120-200 depending on where you go, im not sure but i think you mean 30 inch rims? why would you go and do something like that, you should get a suspension lift (cheaper for 93-97s than for 98-currents) and some nice burly tires. in my opinion..

Well if you do it yourself you're looking at about 250 on the high side for a 3" BL but if you have someone "professional" do it, you're prolly looking closer to 500... but if you're gonna do that you might as well put 31's or 32's on cause a 30" tire is dang close to stock tire size. What motor do you have? Also a suspension lift(if you're looking for cheap) would be rough country. With shocks, stabilizer, and blocks its about 550 i think. However, most shops charge 100 per corner to install lifts and the rangers have rivets on the suspension in the front if it hasn't been lifted before(a pain to get off!) Anyways, hope that helps
