well you can only go so far befor major frame work SHOULD be done. you can get lift springs Aarms and spindles up front and leafs and shackels in back and also a leaf spacer if needed. don't forget the tires

any ranger newer than a 97 has the lamer suspension. costs alot more to lift and there are few choices out there. alot of my buddies just do a torsian bar crank, shackles, and a 3 inch body lift and it gets em up there alright, not a real capable off road rig but you can fit 35s and look perdy...

Take out all the front suspension and do a SAS with an EB dana 44 or narrow a full-size axle... prolly spend half of what the lift would cost and you could lift the snot outta the ranger! You just gotta decide if you wanna do leaf springs or coil springs in the front... or is that a little over your head?

If you want more bolt on stuff, you only have a few options...and no you cannot just do spindles like in the first responder, that is 2wd only.

You have 3" body lift, 4" superlift, 5.5" RCD (discontinued, might be able to find a few kits out there though), Dixon Bros LT ($$$), or go with custom SAS as mentioned above.

3" body, 4" superlift and run 35s. Anything beyond that is going to have to be custom. You can't run 35s on a body lift and actually be able to flex it out without cutting the fenders.
