I know you said you're not going to use them but you can run the same size tire with or without them.

People run 33x12.50's on stock Alcoas which have 4" of backspacing and the tires won't rub unless you're at full lock. If you have the tires sticking out 3-4" you'll notice a couple of problems.
1. Rub all over the place
2. The tires will start throwing rocks at your paint like crazy
If you don't want much rub then go with a rim with around 4" of backspacing.
LOL John I just realized we have the same size tires. Not that it's weird or anything haha.

Do not use torsion keys

Just simply crank your torsion bar bolts to lift the front up some

How To: Adjust torsion bars

I'm running 33x12.5 BFG M/T's on a 15x8 rim with -19mm offset. No tbar crank yet and I had to trim some of the flare and a small portion from the bottom of my front bumper.... I only rub under full lock (and rub on the wheel well liner), but I'm going to ligt about 1.5" with the tbar when I get some time still

You're gonna want a 10" rim with less than 4" backspace(meaning....3.5" bs or 3.625" bs...etc)

I have 10" w/ 4" bs and w/o flares, they stick out the fender about 2"-2.5" at the top of the fender. W/ flares, they stick out about 1-1.5" out the flare at the top. The front trackwidth of these trucks are wider than the rear, so that's all I'm taking into consideration.

ProComp Xtreme Steel wheels have a HUGE selection of differing backspaces. Check 'em out at www.procomptires.com

General rule of thumb has been 32x11.50 or 33x10.50, I would not run 33x12.50 especially if you ever plan to offroad.

I think with those "lift" torsion keys, he'll be fine with 33x12.50's. Not comfortable, but 'okay'. No downtravel, all up. It'll be similar to 35's and a 3" bodylift. Meaning valence trim, almost guaranteed inner fender rub, ripped off fender flares...you know...the good stuff. Then the fun stuff involved with balljoints being way out of spec and CV shafts being bound at even the hint of any downtravel.

I don't and will never suggest using those so-called "leveling kits" for 98+ Torsion bar trucks.

Did you get your tires mounted somewhere? I wanted to get some 33x12.50's and nobody would mount them on a 15x8 wheel, even though pro comp would fit on mine.
