Default Speedo calibration

Is there any way to calibrate for 33" tires? (2010 XLT, 2wd)
Incidently, the new Goodyear MTR's actually measure 33.5".

Hi Conor,
I'm not aware of any tuners for this truck. I'm not entirely sure but I haven't heard of anyone correcting the speedo with a tuner on a Ranger. I could be wrong, but I personally haven't seen it.

A dealer can correct this but to only a certain extent. I've read the dealer and recal the speedo up to a 32" or 33" tire....but have not known many that have since alot of dealers have no clue that they can actually do that! haha.....or a rear gear swap can fix it as well. On the older models(pre '95, possibly even up to pre '98) have speeometer gears in the case or trans that can be changed out to correct the speedometer.....but either 95+ or 98+, it's all electronic and has to be changed via the PCM. Tuner isn't required...but a trip to the dealer is for that speedo recal.

'10 Rangers are just like 09's and 08's and pretty much any newer Ranger as far as tuning goes......Xcal2, X3, I think diablo has one...options are out there for the truck.

I have an xcal3 tuner on mine, and it allows adjusting the gear ratio and tire size to correct the speedo.
