U don't really have to remove the lift, just get smaller or stock tires.
It may look funny, but will getter better gas mileage again, and u still have the choice of putting the bigger tires back on when u want or need to.

Especially if it's just a body lift, that's what I would do anyways.

Drop the tire size down to a 33 or 32 and you will probably save 3-4 mpg depending on your gears, with 3.73s you definitely will save that.

Let us know your set up. 2wd / 4wd? Coil or torsion? Body lift. Etc.

Pretty sure we can get you back to stock or make few changes to get better mileage!

Swap to 4.88 gears that will probably help a good bit.

Drop back down to a 33 or 32" tire as mentioned. Or you can re-gear.

If you want to loose the lift, find someone with stock suspension, tell them to give you $500 bucks on top of it, and you guys swap suspension's. That will put you back down at stock height and put some money in your pocket.

I'm probably not going to sell the lift but we'll see, depends on how i like it lowered back down. I'm trying to figure out what all I'll need to do this. Do i need new shocks and god knows what else? I kinda wonder what it'll look like if i just drop the front and keep the 35's with different gears. Eventually she's going to get a v8 but that's a little ways down the road, probably after deployment.
