Arrow Lifting my truck

i have a 2003 manual 2 door ford ranger...its NOT an edge nor a xlt, just a ranger...i am looking to lift it 2-3 inches and put 31's or 32's on it, however i DONT know which way to lift it. i dont wanna spend a grand on a suspension lift, i dont think i have torsion bars to crank, i need some tips on what to do, new coils? and if so where can i find them? body lift? let me know if you have any advice thank you

If you want to get something cheap just go with lift spindles. They are easy to install and a bunch of companies offer them for your truck.

Performance wise it's not going to make your a truck an offroad beast, it will essentially be equivalent to stock in that regards.

This is the cheapest one for a 98-2000 ranger

DO NOT GET THE SUMMIT BRAND LIFT CHEAP FOR A REASON

they will still fit I have one on my 2005 ranger and I can count 15-20 people on other ranger sites who have it on their 2001 and up rangers

Go on ebay and look for lift spindles. I got a pair of spindles, lift blocks for the rear and new u-bolts for $300 shipped to my door. I wouldn't waste your time with a body lift. You don't gain ground clearance on your frame.

Honestly, if your budget is $200, just keep saving. Can't do tires after you lift it with a tiny budget... Do it right the first time...spindles will ride just like stock. Install in about an hour. It'll look better, you'll have better, actually stock suspension geometry so no added wear on BJ's like after the coil spacer lift, etc... I'm sure someone else can finish my thoughts here...
