Default Which lift?

So I want to lift my truck so I can sport bigger tires. I am new to any modifications. I want to lift my truck solely for looks - I prefer the look of a "beefier," more truck-like Ranger over how it sits stock. I want to lift it to fit 32's on.

QUESTION: What is the best way to lift my truck? Keeping in mind this is only for looks and I don't want to compete or anything. However I don't want to rob the performance or handling of the truck.

Any insight is appreciated.

There are so many threads on this...

Just do a bodylift if you just want it for looks and want to go the cheap way out. Performance will always be affected by adding bigger tires and not regearing.

Just for looks? Definitely not body lift, those are incredibly easy to spot and very ugly/cheap IMO. Im assuming your 2wd so I say spindles/shackles.

I think I am leaning towards the body lift..looks easier. Don't know too much to go ahead and purchase and install other lift systems. Plus I looked at the last 6 TOTM winners and the majority of them have a simple BL - and their trucks look very nice.

body lift.
they dont look cheap at all if done properly. just install gap guards and you'll be fine. cheapest and probably easiest way to fit 33's

id highly suggest 33's over 32's
imo just adds that little bit extra rubber in the wheel wells to make it look perfect.

My spindles do not expose 3" more of the frame than stock, neither do the shackles. Gap guards help, but dont solve the issue entirely. If your 2wd I see no reason at all to go BL unless your double lifting....

Total price of my lift, front and back, $175 + $35 = $210.
