Where did you get spindles for $175? The cheapest I can find is $375.

used, they are everywhere on craigslist... well the fabtech ones are. They can easily be had for $300 and the shackles brand new can be bought for $40. Money very well spent compared to a BL.
with a little patience you can find them for under $200...

Ya, ive been looking around for spindles. Ill probably end up buying them new in a few months. But other do you need anything else to do the spindles or is it just replace it and go?

If I can find spindles and shackles for that price then that is probably the best way to go - based on all the posts I have read elsewhere. Out of 10, how difficult was it to install?

Re: Which lift?
Spindles are easy to install. Just need good set of tools, grinder and common sense (I know thats a super power now-a-days).
My fabtech spindles came with directions and all new bolts, cotter pins and junk witch is really nice.

Re: Which lift?
I did both the suspension lift and body lift on my truck and would say the suspension is easier to do. I put gap guards on it and it looks pretty good. Did that about 3 years ago and have not had a problem with it. Suspension is from Super Lift and body lift is from Performance accessories.

Re: Which lift?
Just to throw it out there I would take a suspension lift to body any day even on a 2wd. I personally ddont like the extra frame dangling below the cab. With or without gap guards I can spot a bodylift. God forbid you want to keep your hitch because that shit looks dumb as fuck.

Re: Which lift?
See this is why I love FRF - I came into this thinking BL was the way to go but my mind has shifted toward the spindle/shackle lift, and it seems the best way to go. Thanks for everyone's input!
