Default will coil springs for a 99 ranger with a 2-inch lift fit a 03 F150?

I have a 2003 F150 and my buddy has a 1999 ranger with a 2-inch lift. He has an extra set of coil springs and we wanted to put them on my truck. We measured them out and it seems they will fit but I don't want to install them if it will cause damage to my truck. is it possible?

I have a hunch that the Ranger is lighter overall than your F150, thus it probably has a softer spring which would let your pckup sag, probably not what you want.
