Default Which is easier

I have a DIY question.. I've been looking at rasing up the back aprox. 2" and i've been on summit racing website and the rear blocks are about 65 bucks and theres add-a-leafs for about $55-59. Which would be more worth the money and easier to put in by my self?? is this something me and a buddy can do w/ a jack and some standard tools? I understand that the AAL will make the ride in back a lil stiffer

I also Heard about the Chevy drop shackles. Please include those in my question above..

Blocks would be easiest to install of the 3

AAL and shackle could be hard depending on condition of the truck's under carriage

What year truck you have

Add the leaf and then extend the shackles as well - added blade would give 1"and the 2"longer shackle will give another 1"
very easy to install, you could do it at home no problem

And then my truck will look like a drag car cuz the a$$ end will be sitting so friggen high... Do people forget about doing the front...?? Its 4wd and my tbars are getting cranked tomorrow so im kinda outta options
