i was told ny a friend u could do this and itd lift ur front end but make ur ride a little more stiff does it still work tho?

on the front end?.. maybe if you didn't have IFS.. in the rear they would work.. might have to relocate the spring hangers.. but alot of people use the chevy leafs for the rear and they give u a little lift.

perhaps i miss understood the question... are you talking leaf springs or coils?

F150 coils will net about 4-5" of lift on a TTB ranger. You really should have drop brackets at that height or turned arms. They work and most can still adjust the camber to be close. They ride like a dump truck and the top plate doesn't quite fit. In the rear they are most likely a 54" leaf and rangers have a 56" leaf so they will work but suck the shackle foreward, ride suffers as does flex.

What year of F150 leaf springs will work for the rear on a 1990 2wd ranger? Or off any truck really, not necessarily an F150.
