it is an easy bolt on kit, you should still only run about 32 inch tires at max though

I have an 87 Ranger with a Rough Country 4 inch lift. It's a lift that's a few years old, but I would not recommend going with Rough Country. From my experience, the ride is much rougher. I'm not able to get the flex I want because the suspension is so stiff. The front coils are much thicker in diameter than the factory ones, and the new rear springs I got with mine were much stiffer as well. I had to take a leaf out just so I wouldn't beat my brain to death going down the road. If you're just going with a lift to fit bigger tires, then that's fine, but you're going to have a much rougher ride than factory. I'm able to fit 33's on my 87, but since yours is a different body style it might not take 33's.

I'm not happy with my lift. It was cheap, so that was pretty much the reason I went with them. Now I'm regretting it. If you plan on driving it on a daily basis and don't want to end up with a bad back, go with someone else.
