Re: Superlift Guys... Need some quick help
I wouldnt put blocks in it though, you'd be better off getting an add a leaf and buying those shackles off of Clinton.
If you've never driven w/ stacked blocks, let me tell you right now, it's scary. I do not like it. And it's unsafe. I would much rather drop an extrawa 80 bucks for me to feel safer.
Oh and while Im at it, never re-use u-bolts. Get new ones.
Glad you got it bro!

Re: Superlift Guys... Need some quick help
No, I wouldnt double block it anyways, Id go with a shackle lift probably. And Clinton, the kit has been sitting in his garage for 6 years so more than likely I'll be purchasing new shocks. Im going to price different ones
Bilstein 5100's are $80/piece with a 4" lift

Re: Superlift Guys... Need some quick help
I shopped around for shocks for a long time, Bilsteins wont fit, you need the superlift shocks. They are about 30.00 each on summitracing.com. If you figure out a way to make the Bilsteins work, let me know

Re: Superlift Guys... Need some quick help
Looks to have everything you need, the cam bolts for the UCA are even there which is great. I would get new bolts and nylock nuts just to be safe. if you cant track down 3.75in bolts for the diff 1 4in (Passenger side) and one 3.5in (driver) are what you need.
heres the install instructions with a parts list.
http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...structions.pdf
also the end links a probably junk, they will clunk right out of the box. make some new ones with some threaded rod and a sleve.
keep in mind you will need a drive shaft eventually. if your truck has some miles on it its a good time to replace all your balljoints and UCAs because you have to take them apart and get an alignment anyway.
one last thing if your Knuckles have the PVH seal on the back make sure to grease it or it will squeak.

Re: Superlift Guys... Need some quick help
Take a driveshaft out of a 3rd gen Ranger/explorer and you'll be good to go. As long as it has a double cardon shaft, you'll be fine. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the superlift shaft which is exactly the same damn thing.

Re: Superlift Guys... Need some quick help
The rod with the shockeye bushing on the bottom of the shock needs to be longer which is only available with superlift shocks. It has interference problems
