Cool flexing help

ok so i just got it lifted and i went to see how it would flex and it did about the same as stock . my friend said longer shackles will help with the flex. is this true? is there something i can do to get it to stuff the rear tire more? thanks for the help.

I am not familiar with you lift, but yes, shackles will improve articulation.

A body lift is going to give the illusion of more flex. It doesn't actually do anything to provide more flex, other than allowing a little more room for the stock suspension to move.

And of course, this only applies to the rear, since on a torsion bar-sprung truck, the front end is not going to do much anyway.

have you detached the sway bar? that'll make it flex a lot more. the bds kit i think includes the sway bar so if you put it on it wont flex too much

Ditch the sway bars, get some softer coils from a jeep or something for the frontend, add shackles to the rear, longer shocks depending on current travel, ditch a leaf outta the rear pack to make them softer. If all else fails.....SAS it.

With any suspension it'll flex to how it's tuned and abused.
