Hi guys,

I have a 2008 XL 2WD.

I would like to lift it, and have found a 3" spindle / 2" shackle kit (spindles for the front, shackles for the back)

Would it be beneficial with a kit like this to get the lift springs (to compliment the 3" spindle lift) and the lift shocks (such as the ones Rancho makes)?

This spring I am going to be replacing the whole front end suspension (upper and lower joints, a-arms, tie rods, etc) and figured that would be a good time to take care of a lift as well. I plan to do the work myself not a terribly hard job, but was curious if I should get lift shocks / springs or regular shocks / springs

will the 3" coils and shocks add an additional 3" to the 3" spindle lift? that is my question, i guess. I only want 3ish inches of lift.

the coils will lift the truck more than the lift spindle already does, giving you more than 3" of lift.
