Can you weld?

That makes all the difference in the world.

If you can weld (well) you can easily do an sas with leaves. But it's a lot more, like building a front cross member, and rear hangers, and shackles, and knowing just how far to space your hangers, and how what pack to use, and how steering was set up.

Steering with leaves gets pretty expensive with high steer and all.

Look up project: Mooseknuckle on therangerstation. That's where most of my SAS build is written out on.

Receiving: tons and a 351w stroked to a 427.

no i cant weld. frankly i dont have any skills to do what i want to do. that is why im trying to figure out what i will be getting into. i hope you dont think your spinning your tires getting nowhere with me. you are helping me out. the front crossmember is for the front shackles? correct? then whatever packs i get i need to figure out where to put the front and back hangers/shackles? and the front hangers mount to the front crossmember?
