Shackles
Sup guys, i was looking more into shackles and was going to get some the other day but i had a quick question. My friend actually was thinking about this when we were going to get them he was going to get to sets, 2 per set and i was wondering why he would do that. I told him that everyone puts them in the back. I look at the leaf springs and noticed its the same setup in the front section of the leaf spring so would i get 4 shackles or just 2 for the rear. Why do/dont people put them on both the front and back of the leafs.

Re: Shackles
Ya thats what everyone does but i was jsut wondering why people dont put it in the front as well, seems like it would give them even more lift but not sure if it would warp or mess up the leafs. thats what im wondering

Re: Shackles
Due to your axle moving back and forth and snapping crap, you need a solid mounting point.

Re: Shackles
^ exactly, if u put 2 sets then ur axle will move constantly, when u put shackles on ur lifting the back end of the leafspring not the whole leaf spring

I was just guessing you could get more lift if you did both being they are both the same setup, but ya the movement wouldnt be very good.
