Question what would look better?

i am going to lift my truck and i want it big but not to the point where it look completely retarted i have a choice of a 4" or a 6" wat do u think wont look retarted in my truck? please help me make up my mind

I'm 7"(4" suspension and 3" body) and 35's...but I started out taller than you'll be starting out. Mine could fit 32's stock. If there was a 6" suspension for my truck, I wouldn't be running a bodylift or the 35's I suppose.

It's all in the gear ratio, regear properly and you're 3.0 can push them.... not fast by any means (the 3.0 is slow stock!), but it will roll.

yea but you would have to re gear to get your full power and gas mileage back..

Depends on your current gear ratio. 4.10 is preferrred but I doubt you've got 4.10's in it now. You should look into gearing it anyway. Probably to 4.56.


for 35's, most guys with Gen3's get the 6" suspension and 3" body. I prefer to clear the tires and not be stuffed, so that's the setup I'd run. And I'd gear to 4.88.

I would go with the 6 in lift and get 33's.
