I have been researching for a long while now about extending my radius arms. I know the general jist of how to do it BUT after looking at my truck today I have a few questions.
The bracket that radius arms are hooked to now came with the lift. (I assume)
1) Do I have to keep that bracket in order for my camber to be right?
2) I'd rather ditch that whole bracket and fab up something close to the frame, can that be done and still have ok camber?
3) If I do away with that bracket do I just angle the "extended bar" upward toward the frame?
I know I am HORRIBLE at drawing but here is a quick drawing of what I am thinking I am going to have to do. Is this right or am I off?
The top one being a stock radius arm
The bottom being the extended arm with the angle to meet with the frame.
