Default New shocks for a 3" Torsion Key Lift???

Hey guys,

I just put a 3" torsion key conversion (lift kit) on my 2010 Ranger... got 295/75R16's sitting underneath her now and its really nice. Only thing is now my ride is gone to SHIT!!! One of the guys at the shop said I need longer shocks because of the 3" difference...

Anyone have any sugesstions on what shock to get and what length I need to get AT LEAST stock ride quality back into my truck... she is super stiff now.

Thanks in advance if you have some time to drop me a suggestion.

Should have saved money put in keys from a ranger 2006 and older and cranked your torsion bars.

Anyways bilstein 5100 series shocks hands down.

Its super stiff because, the keys crank the bars making the ride stiffer

You wont ever get anywhere near the stock ride quality back with a 3 torsion bar lift. Ive found that anything above 1.5 lift over stock height starts to get pretty rough. I found that a 2 lift to be maximum that Id go with it. The new shocks will not help the ride quality unless your stock shocks are being overextended, then maybe youll feel some difference but dont expect much. You might want to consider lowering down to maybe 2.5 or closer down to 2.0 of lift and see how the ride is and check your tire clearance and then make a decision on the best height for your truck, ride quality etc.
