Default The heck is with traction bars?!

So I was browsing the interwebs today after work... then i came across these traction bar things? I found some but what I dont understand is why they say they only work with 2wd rangers in my year range? Is this true or is there any reason or why would they not work with 4wd trucks? I want to get me a pair cuz' from what i read it would be helpful but I need some pro advice. thanks!

Ok now this opened my eyes a bit. traction bars?

But I still need to know if theres any kit available for my year? that is what confuses me

Soon to come: fender flare removal, tear off paint under them, replace with bedliner all the way around the truck, paint topper, fix window seals on topper, build roofrack for topper, install shit on roofrack, and make the inside of the topper livable.

there is no difference between 2wd and 4wd. Frames are the same, spings are the same, rear ends are the same. They will work. I have a set of full length T-bars and they are amazing. Its incredible the amount of torque your wheels will put down with these on. Not good for offroading, they limit flex

depends on the offroading you do. Alon had a set on his ranger the first time i met him, and he was FLYING through some rough whoops in Pismo

Any chance you can help me find some that will fit my truck?

jamesduff.com has them. They have 2 sets, one set like I have, the long twin tube ones. And Pat has the other set, the ones that sit on top of the spring. The ones pat has are nice because they still allow flex, where the ones I have lock the rear up stiff.

The best solution is to run a 3rd link, this would run from the pumpkin up to the trans mount or t-case mount. This really works well cause its centered, allows full flex and still stops the axle wrap.
