Question for people with Bodylifts?
Okay so wI have been think of gettn a 3 inch body lift but I have some questions
will there be a big gap between my bumbers and the body? or is there a way to attach my bumpers to the body?
Second since its just a bodylift will my chassis be hangin noticably lower than my body?
input would be nice this could be the difference in me getting one in the future or not

they make brackets to raise the bumper up as well. and yes the frame will hang down and looks hideous, as well as a big gap noticeable between the bottom of your bed and the frame

Re: Question for people with Bodylifts?
bumper brackets make the bumpers look normal, the frame does hang down low, tons of people on here have it done, look at theirs and decide for yourself if you think it looks hideous.

Re: Question for people with Bodylifts?
Hmm well so far I used the search button to see some of the rangers with 3 inch bodylifts on annd well they don't look hideous but the chassis is still hagin a little more than I would like it to be. I think that ima just save up for a leveling kit and a lift kit better to get something ima like then somethin I won't then regret it thanks for the input guys

Re: Question for people with Bodylifts?
Your truck being a 2wd, Id say save up a bit more and get Spindles.

I disagree, but everyone has their opinion on it.
I bought gap guards and they look real nice. The reast are right, the kit has bumper relocating brackets and trust me, get or make the gap guards.
Feel free to look at my album pics, you will see they dont stand out, or look amazing but they do the job well

Re: Question for people with Bodylifts?
As they said it comes with brackets to adjust the bumper.
It may look hideous however it is cheaper if you dont have the money.

I like your truck Clint not too much hang with the chassis it I wouldn't mind doing a bodylift if I got the same results you did and I don't have a lot of cash so my options for lifting my truck are few.
......At one point I was just thinking about getting F-150 front coilovers and just addin like two leaf springs to each of the rear to level it out but idk if that would mess with my ride quality or ball joints

Stick with the body lift dude, its better on the budget and you dont have to worry about any other additions or problems like the coil overs and leafs

Re: Question for people with Bodylifts?
Yeah Clinton I think I will stick with the bodylift the more I look at trucks that have them the more I am starting to like it besides I don't do a lot of heavy duty off roadin I just want a better stance more intimidating stance.
So is there any suggestions for leveling my front end? like my signature states my trucks a 2wd not and Edge either so I have no Torsion bars Im all coils any suggestions?
