Okay I got these on CL for 150. The problem I'm having is idk if these are right. because to me they look the same size as the stock. But the guy keeps telling me they are 3 in lift and if I want my money back I can have it but i really want to do this..
So can somebody tell me how to tell these are 3 in bigger..Like where to measure to make sure..

I would think that the upper A-FRAME mount distance to the spindle is LONGER
on the 3' lift ones compared to your original

he told me to measure the part where the rotor goes. that should be 3 inches lower? but i measure both spindles and there both 15 inches in height thats what i dont get?

If they are the same, they are the same. No way around it. The guy is mistaken.
Maybe he handed you the stock set by mistake and the others are still at his place.

Have you tried cross checking that number that is stamped on them there is only a few companies that make them, did he mention how/ who he got them from. Also it is correct that the rotor mounting point would be 3in lower then stock.

The guy makes no sence to me. his story was the explorer has torsion bars and was a 2wd and had these installed...
Truck he had in the drive..My guess it was his friends..

Lift spindles are indeed the same size as stock spindles, the snout is just 3" lower, thus lifting the truck 3".

However you do not have a torsion bar suspension, thus torsion bar spindles will not work.
