I cranked them on my Explorer Sport Trac. The truck obviously rides stiffer but no problems yet for me.

How old was the truck before cranking them? How many miles on the truck?

I cranked mine when it had less then 5K miles and no problems now with 64K

2005 65K put 3K on them about 1K of which was probably unpaved. smoked the half shafts first replaced those. smoked them again, a hub, caliper, disk and drivers side lower arm was damaged. was cheaper to SAS than replace the ford parts.
