Do NOT get rough country drop brackets. They have a tendancy to crack your 3rd member. You dont need a new crossmember, I dont know who told you that. Also, w/ the F150 coils, they wont fit right in the upper coil buckets. You need the j-clips for the F150s. Broncograveyard.com sells them for $10 a pop. As for the bottom of the coils, you need F150 coil seats for them to seat properly. Also, if you dont know this now, your truck will ride like a damn dumptruck with those springs due to their spring rate. If you want 3 inches of lift, get rough country 4 inch springs, skyjacker drop brackets, add a leaf and shackle for the rear, etc. Do it right or dont do it at all....hope this helps.

x2 on all that ^^^^.

I will add that on my truck with 6" lift the drop brackets were to long. I think that 4" drop brackets with 6" coils are good. perhaps the same for you, 4" springs, 3" brackets, if possible. On my truck it the axles were above the pivot points

you don't have to get drop brackets to run f150 coils. you also dont need to do anything with the buckets. the lower seats well enough and the upper will lock in with a set of ubolts or hoseclamps.

works fine so far got 10K on it so far and its been going like a year now. it rides stiff. had to remove the stock sway bar and it rides better after that. alignment is back within a couple % of stock.

I have a 1995 ford ranger XLT Extended cab 3.0 gas. I bought this truck from an individual that had done some suspension upgrades i.e. 6" bocks and coils, 3" body lift (he says it was skyjacker kit, i'm not sure)
QUESTION: my left hand drop pivot bracket broke. How can I make sure i'm replacing it with the right part before ordering? PLEASE HELP!!!
