Here's the solution to your CV problem. These are specifically made for lifted trucks/suvs with CVs...they are stupid strong and relatively inexpensive

i know right i still hevent decieded what i wanna do and being that it cost do much to lift im wondering if i should sell the bitch and buy a 97 and just throw a 8" superlift and be done. to me a 4" lift aint worth 2100.00 now if it were 8 i would have bought it. im just trying to talk my self into clicking that buy it now button.

----------

how much they run? and do they make em to fit our 99 rangers?

I'm running the stock 4:10's. From stock height it's about 10" with the aftermarket keys adjust all the way, the B/L, and the 4" Superlift. You'll be able to get 3" with the keys alone.

Superlift is putting my truck in their new 2012 catalog! Pretty cool,I thought. They're also going to use it on their new website they're working on.

do you have any problem with tire wear being your tbars are maxed out? im asking becuase i took mine to the alingment shop with mine maxed out and he said he cant line it up with maxed t bars.because it tightens the suspiension so much it wont stay lined up. what brand aftermarket keys did you get? and are they keys or torsion bars? thats sweet they are putting your truck in a magazine but that truck is pretty sick hopefully i will have mine lookin like that and i wanna do rockstars to but idk i did just buy some eagle alloys.

The Ford dealership did everything to my truck, installed the lift kit, torsion keys, & did the alignment. I did the B/L though. I havent had any issues with it keeping alignment since it was done about 6 months ago. I bought the torsion keys off ebay, just search "Ford Ranger leveling kit". I think it's made Adrenaline Motorsports. The truck will not ride as good with the keys turned all the way up, but it won't hurt anything.

A little over $700. They were actually cheaper than 4Wheel Parts. I wanted someone who was insured and knew what they were doing. Some things you don't want to go cheap on.

oh yeah i agree like mine i want to get everything done by a shop not because i cant do it myself but because if anything goes wrong the will fix it but whats the mpgs looking like on your ranger. a guy in my town says he gets around 17 with 35s and 4.88 gears thats the reason i was wanting to do 37s to be bigger than him lol. i noticed you live in gorgia im only a few hours away in south carolina.

37s will fit kind of you will rub the fender with the truck with it flexed. Get the coil over convsion with a long travel kit. Dump your torsion bars.

Just fyi I didn't spend $2100 sas'ing mine and it rides better than the superlifted crap does with drop brackets and tbars still.

Dude with the keys and superlift I would put money you wear a lot of parts faster than a stock or even cranked tbars. Your hubs, tbars, and halfshafts will all wear faster. 4.10s and an auto with 35s will beat that transmission down you might be ok but bet you are doing heavy maint before to long especially if you are actually offroading it.

I get about 15-16 mpg, that's with the Superchips Cortex Tuner. Before it was tuned, I was getting about 11 mpg. Going up in the gears will help with the mpg. You can go with 37's, it's really not going to be that much of a difference on wear & tear if you wne twith 35's. It's all going to break down eventally...might as well look good in the process!
