Default question before decision

So I am thinking of getting rid of my 1999 Ford Explorer for a Ford Ranger, I want a truck first off and of course, I don't have a need for anything big as of now. Before I do this I wanted to know a question,

Is it possible to put a brush guard on a ranger that has a 3 inch body lift? If so how because with some emails before, I heard the you couldn't put a brush guard with a body lift.

If you can do this, then I definitely will get a ranger.

youll have to modify it, cause it will sit 3 inches lower than the body. its not hard. idk how, but loads of people have done it.

x2 on the modifying, you'll just need to modify the mounts from what I can tell. I know several members here have done it though
