Default got a problem

hi,
i have a 98 4x4 ranger with what i beleive to be a lift kit on it. ( i am not the most truck savy person, but i am learning)
i dont know the technical term for my question/problem so i will describe to the best of my ability and hopefully someone gets it.
on the passenger side, the box that the torsion bar goes into onm the back end of the bar, the bolt holding up the inner side sheered off. the outer bracket is now pretty bent and the truck is undrivable. i am thinking i can probly just take it apart and bend the plate back to normal but i wanted to know if anyone knew of a site where i can buy that specific plate (seems easier) also is there anything i should be worried about in removing that box. i wish i had at least a picture to give a refrence but i dont right now. also if anyone has a suggestion on bolt/nut combos to use as a replacement. thanks a bunch

Holy shit, its a good thing your not driving it, You basically have no front suspension on your passenger side. Now thats an important part of your suspension, you could probably bend it back, but i dont know if i would trust it 100%. Im not that good with tb suspension, but someone will chime in soon.

contact super-lift and order a new bracket. they're who made the lift kit, its a torsion bar drop/relocation bracket.

does that thing seriously mount up with those clips...!?!?!?!?! shady

----------

you should be able to bend that thing back to get you by. I would buy some grade 8 bolts, washers, lock washers and lock nuts and BOLT that thing on!
