Used is probably the only way you will find one cheap

Or if you find a place going out of business

Get a body lift if you really want to go the inexpensive route.

Just my $.02.
The guy at the local 4x4 shop was telling a customer that if he put a body lift on his rig he would not have the expenses that are incurred when you do a suspension lift and it would still allow him to do the big tire thing.
I figured he was talking about an alignment, and the difference in cash outlay.
The customer then wants to order up a 6" body lift, and is told that 3" is as high as they go, customer say 3" won't allow the use of 31's on his truck and that is what he wants.
The customer then went storming out madder than than a wet hen.
Sales guy just shook his head, and said this has been an ongoing thing with the same guy for about a year now, and he just can't get this guy to listen.
I don't know what type of truck he has, there was only a car there when I appeared.

dear god, you expect that to be cheaper than a superlift? wow.... you got no clue what you've gotta do do you?

TONS of things to take into considerations....how do you wanna suspend it? coils, leaves, coil-overs, airshocks, air bags, ???????????.

In his first SAS with the D30, he had probably somewhere in the 3-5k range. I honestly don't know and I don't think he's talked publically and what he's out. Just the lift kit made for a XJ was about $1500. He's still using the long arms from that kit on his D44 and coil-overs.

I WAS going to SAS mine and skip any lifts with it still IFS, but I found that $450 superlift and I couldn't resist. My parts lists just parts added up to approx $3000 and that was before the axle got gone through and gears installed...
