Default Re: leveling coils

Im the one with the broken coil. How much are the rough country leveling coils? Depending on how much they are im either going to get those, or order some stock size and get the aluminum coil spacers a little latter

----------

Oh and with the leveling coils, would my stock shocks work for now or would I need new ones?

You'll have more money in buying stock coils and spacers than leveling coils. The coils are 130 from rough country. You will need new shocks. Rough country has them too for around 35 a peice. Remember you will also need an alignment with those coils or spacers. You will need new balljoint camber bushings too. Expect to pay around $150 for the alignment and bushings.

You should be able to adjust leveling coils to stock alignment specs without new bushings. 3 degree bushings aren't needed until 4+ inch of lift. For shocks hit autozone or whatever get 80s f150 shocks and drill out the stock bushings $15 a shock.

On the fullsize broncos they used to have dual shocks on each side for the front end(4 shocks up front). And on the front of my truck I am running the front shock from the dual setup.

No offense dude, but bullshit! lol My truck was 4 degrees out on driver side and 3 on passenger side. With leveling coils. 4+ inches of lift requires drop brackets anyways. And if hes going to get new shocks, why not order the RIGHT ones the first time?

Then you got fucked from the factory I went up 4" from factory using f150 coils and came within 1 degree of factory camber personally I can live with that so it got left alone. Also most 5" kits come with drop brackets 3" ones do not there is a reason for that. As for the shocks why not save $30 they are not the wrong shock they just have too small of a bushing. Rough country shocks are known for being shit anyway. Very well known for blowing.
