Save up and buy some spindles. Lift blocks are cheap for the back

pretty sure you can't get lift spindles for a 94, I'd go with lift shackles before I did blocks as well.

Cheapest way would be a body lift or lift coils, I think you can go up to a 3" lift coil before you would have to get all the drop brackets for the ibeams to keep it aligned.

or he could go to a junkyard get a set of 4x4 ranger coils from a similar rear and the stock ford 2-2.5" blocks along with the ubolts. shouldn't be more than $60 and its not unsafe to lift it that way seeing how thats how the 4x4 is stock.

Belltech lowering shackes for a early 90s Chevy 1500 and Jeep XJ front lift springs. It'll cost you about $300 and give you about 3". For a little more work you could do a 63" spring swap in the rear for a little more lift.

True, he could do that, but theres other ways it can be done for the same price.

such as shackles and what? because there will not be cheaper coils than junkyard coils off of a 4WD and coil spacers are kinda dumb when you can get "lift" coils for the same price.

I believe 93-97 rangers sit at the same height regardless of 4wd or 2wd so pulling coils, or leafs and blocks from those wouldn't help. The best bet is either get lift coils and shackles like I mentioned before, do what show said and get shackles and XJ front springs, or do a body lift.

jeep springs work, but they're a really soft spring rate usually.

i believe you are incorrect. hence why you see a bunch of them old rangers running 235/75R15s on the 2WD vs 265/75R15 on the 4x4s

You can always go the cheap route and stack washers up upder your coil. Cheap and easy. You'll need a 3" diameter washer with 3/4" hole through it. Also need 2 new longer bolts 3/4 bolt by I believe 8 inches long. That's for the front, and for the rear, get chevy shackles and stock blocks from a 2wd F150 (one inch taller than stock ranger block). New u=bolts for the rear and you're good to go. Looking at probably $150 total plus an alignment if you need it. Thats the CHEAP route, which i would NOT do if yuo plan on Daily driving it. Otherwise, get yourself some leveling coils and some shackles for the rear. Good luck and happy wrenching.

Actually 2wd ranger coils are taller than 4wd coils due to the thinner I-beam in them.
