Default who has fabtech coil springs, how did you get them in!

Please help.. I need this done today.. They wont compress enough for the spindle to be re attached

Im on jack stands. I cant take pics but fabtech says the top of the spring has the logo and number, which the logo and writing are on a coil about one or two down from the middle. If that is the top then it the logo is up side down. I cant even get it into the LCA. The one time I did, which according to the directions the spring was upside down, I couldnt jack the arm up enough to re attach the spindle.

I am so frustrated..

I have the spring compressor from autozone. how can you use it at all. It wont work because the bolt on it is in the way of everything. It hits the lower control arm so there is no way to put it in the LCA

I need info from someone who has done this so they can tell me what they did, and I can check with what I am doing.

The confusing thing is that the way fabtech wants me to put the coils in is directly upside down of what the stock coils are.... Should I just put them in the way the stock coils are??

I looked at a write up of how to install the camburg 5.5 springs.. but that is no help.. why does this work for everyone else...

Im going to make the assumption that fabtech misprinted their logo on the springs or that their directions are wrong/ unclear as to what they mean when they are talking about the top of the spring.

Ok I think I have the wrong spring compressor. I need an internal. they gave me a strut spring compressor.... Ima call autozone and see if they have it

They make several versions

I like the one from Oreilly, it's friggin sweeet, LOOO profile, great for working with tight clearances.

That being said, if you have enough droop in the suspension equal to the UNsprung height of the coil, you can do it, otherwise, don't even try using a jack/ with no spring compressor. Flying springs are terrifying and deadly.
